OVERVIEW — TIER 4

In response to the user clicking on the "Tom & Marilyn" web link, the ButtonBox™ Desktop's browser automatically navigates to the new web link.

Since this web site not have any children, the lower part of the ButtonBox™ Desktop side panel is blanked (Figure 8). This will occur anytime we reach the end of a branch in the mapping tree.

Figure 8 illustrates the corresponding mapping tree view.

If the user clicks on the "Back" arrow located just under the category buttons in the ButtonBox™ Desktop side panel, the browser will return to the previous web site (i.e. the parent). In this example, the parent web link is "Family Tree". The user could then traverse lower by clicking on "Dream Car" or go to the parent of that web link ("Photo Gallery").
