DEFINING "MY BUTTONS"

When the Mapping Utility is launched from the ButtonBox™ Desktop, a copy of your current selections written to a temporary file. This allows you to build and test your "My Buttons" mapping file prior to publishing for ButtonBox™ Desktop use.
NOTE: If the temporary mapping file already exists, you will be prompted as to which file to use when the Mapping Utility is launched.

If you select the ButtonBox™ Desktop version, any existing temporary mapping file WILL BE OVERWRITTEN.

If you have the top level link and all the sublevels defined, a mapping tree containing one root node and six (6) children will be displayed (Figure 3).

When you launch the "Configure MyButtons" dialog, a note will be displayed above the "Advanced Options" button to remind you that you are in the process of creating a new mapping structure using the Mapping Utility (Figure 4).
