If you have a ButtonBox™ VoiceMail account, you can configure the "VoiceMail" category button on the ButtonBox™ Desktop to automatically launch a browser window to the Web VoiceMail interface.
The ButtonBox™ Desktop can also periodically monitor your ButtonBox™ VoiceMail account for new voice messages.
When a new voice message is detected, the VoiceMail category on the ButtonBox™ Desktop side panel will display a small desk phone (Figure 9).
Once it has been determined that you have listened to all of the new messages (that is, they have been removed from the Inbox either by saving or deleting them), the phone indicator will disappear.
You can optionally have a sound played or system tray balloon pop up upon receipt of new voice messages.
Each field is describe in detail below.

VoiceMailbox #:
Enter the phone number associated with your ButtonBox™ VoiceMail account.
NOTE:
You must enter (at a minimum) the 10-digit number.
Formatting characters such as parentheses, spaces, and dashes are ignored.
The default mailbox number (612-555-1234) is a sample read-only account that you can access to view the Web VoiceMail features.

| Password: Enter the password associated with the above VoiceMailbox. |
Check for New VoiceMail:
This checkbox enables and disables the background VoiceMail monitoring feature.
You must specify a time interval (in minutes).
NOTE:
The following options and fields are only enabled for selection when VoiceMail monitoring is enabled.

Display System Tray Icon:
If this box is checked, a separate system tray icon will be displayed when a new voice message is detected (Figure 4).
To launch a browser window to the Web VoiceMail interface, double-click on the phone in the system tray.

Display Popup Balloon:
You can also be notified of new voice messages with a small balloon popup over the system tray icon (Figure 11) by checking this box.

Play Sound:
If this box is checked, the selected sound is played when a new voice message is detected.
Selection is made via the drop-down list.
To hear the sound, click on the "Preview" button adjacent the drop-down list.
